• Waqf (Rules of Pausing): Knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to read. Stopping at the wrong place can drastically alter the meaning of a verse. We teach students the various punctuation marks in the Quran (the small letters like Meem, Jeem, Laam-Alif) and what they signify.
• Breath Control: Beautiful recitation requires managing your breath, especially during long verses. Our tutors provide practical techniques on how to inhale deeply and pace the recitation so you do not run out of air mid-sentence.
• Tone Modulation (Lahn): While we strictly adhere to the rules of Tajweed, we also encourage students to beautify their voices. You will learn to modulate your tone to reflect the emotional weight of the verses—whether they are verses of mercy, warning, or historical narrative.
